Moorhouse Properties is a professional family-run business that has been providing and managing its own Luxury Student and Professional Accommodation for over 16 years.

Moorhouse Properties story began in 2001, when it was founded by a professional landlord Ian Moorhouse. At that time, the company owned and managed only one property, a semi-detached house. In the past 16 years, through passion, dedication and knowledge, Ian took his company from owning just a single house to owning and managing many properties within the Midlands.

The ambition of Ian and his family is to continue expanding the portfolio of properties, whilst at the same time maintaining a high standard of customer care for all student and professional tenants!

"I have over 16 years experience as a landlord in the student and professional rental market and I'm involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

I have overseen the steady growth of Moorhouse Properties over this time. I have taken the company from owning a single semi-detached house to a string of luxury properties. I remain ambitious and like to ensure the company continues to produce high quality well managed accommodation.

I am also the Managing Director of a building contracting company and employ the services of my own contracting staff to attend to building defects and routine maintenance in relation to Moorhouse Properties which ensures my tenants receive high quality workmanship with the minimum of delays and disruption to the tenant."

"I have been working for Moorhouse Properties for 12 years as Property Manager, before that I was employed by Belvoir Lettings in Loughborough for 2 years as Lettings Administrator for Students and Professionals, I also worked for Spanish Property Shop in Loughborough as Sales Representative selling property in Spain for just over a year.

I am a very committed individual and take my role as Property Manager extremely seriously. I see my role not just as Property Manager as my job also involves numerous tasks required to be carried out and each day is never the same. I could be signing up tenants one day and cleaning our houses ready for the new tenants the next day. My roll involves processing applications, signing tenancies up, typing up inventories/schedule of conditions, inspections, check outs, liaising with the council for council tax, contacting utility companies as well as sorting out maintenance issues and this is just a few!"
